What are we looking for?

Our Operational Excellence team is growing, and we are now seeking an Iteration Manager Business Analyst to join our Legal Practice System Program team. This is a 12 Month, Max Term contract on a Full Time basis and flexible work arrangements will be considered. Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work. Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • Gathering, analysing and interpreting data and insights to inform business needs and functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Working with business stakeholders to prioritise requirements and providing input on business value and benefits for requirements
  • Communicating with stakeholders across the business to develop analysis and design solutions in a collaborative way.
  • Designing and implementing solutions that improve the overall efficiency of the business and its processes.
  • Facilitating meetings and workshops with stakeholders to develop solutions and strategies.
  • Managing deliverables and activities to meet timeframes and business needs as part of the delivery squad.

  • Proven analytical and systems thinking skills used to translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to devise solutions that overcome challenges faced by clients and legal teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with experience in generating documentation and reports to a high proficiency.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience in optimising processes and systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to balance differing views for optimal outcomes.
  • Experience in moderating group discussions and enabling participants to effectively articulate thoughts and ideas.
  • Proactive style and highly organised, able to work well to timeframes upholding quality of deliverables
  • Experience working in a squad environment aligned with Agile principles of fortnightly sprints, and supporting the team of configuration and test resources to deliver value at the end of each sprint
  • Available to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with full and unrestricted working rights in Australia. Proof of work rights will be required as part of the Slater and Gordon application process.
