IT Global Governance Building ( Management Position )

A major global automotive technology company is hiring a senior IT Governance professional to help shape and strengthen its global IT governance framework.

This is a management-level position within a large international IT organization, with responsibility spanning Japan, the Americas, Europe, China, and Asia. The broader IT organization supports infrastructure, enterprise applications, IoT, and information security across the business.

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead the development and implementation of a global IT governance framework
• Review and standardize IT policies across five global regions
• Build and manage an enterprise-wide IT Policy House
• Strengthen governance processes, compliance, audit readiness, and risk management
• Establish governance frameworks leveraging methodologies such as COBIT and TOGAF
• Partner with HR and other stakeholders on IT ethics, organizational policies, and governance training
• Support business continuity, crisis management, and broader enterprise risk initiatives
• Help define the organization's overall IT vision, objectives, and governance strategy

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience in IT governance
• Experience operating in complex, enterprise-scale environments
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and consensus-building skills
• Business-level to fluent English, with the role requiring approximately TOEIC 900-level proficiency
• Experience with COBIT, TOGAF, IT risk management, audit, or compliance would be highly advantageous
