  • Own the delivery of RICEFW objects, ensuring each item is properly assessed, designed, estimated, built, unit tested, documented, and aligned with approved business and technical requirements.
  • Partner with functional leads, solution architects, integration leads, data teams, security teams, and vendors to translate Finance and Accounting requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
  • Champion clean-core and fit-to-standard principles by limiting custom development to justified business, regulatory, control, or operational needs.
  • Provide technical direction for ABAP development, object-oriented ABAP, CDS views, OData services, SAP Gateway, enhancement frameworks, BAdIs, user exits, APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, forms, and workflows.
  • Guide the design and development of SAP Fiori applications, extensions, and user experience improvements that support efficient Finance and Accounting operations.
  • Coordinate development activities across internal teams, system integrator resources, offshore development teams, and other delivery partners.
  • Conduct design reviews, code reviews, performance reviews, and quality checks to ensure solutions are secure, reliable, supportable, and aligned with development standards.
  • Work with testing teams to support unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, defect resolution, and production readiness.
  • Support data conversion, reporting, integration, security, and cutover activities where SAP development work is required.
  • Manage development risks, issues, dependencies, estimates, status reporting, and delivery commitments within the program governance model.
  • Mentor developers and technical analysts while promoting reusable design patterns, documentation discipline, and continuous improvement.
  • Support go-live, hyper care, stabilization, and transition to steady-state support by ensuring proper knowledge transfer, operational documentation, and support procedures.
