IT Lead, for the Housing Journey Tribe

Ready to shape the future of housing finance at one of Scandinavia's most established banks? This IT Lead role offers the chance to transform how customers experience real estate financing through cutting-edge technology and strategic leadership.

What You Will Be Doing

As IT Lead for our Housing Journey Tribe, you will co-lead alongside a Tribe Lead to develop the digital housing experiences. Working with diverse teams across Denmark, Lithuania, and India, you will advance Danske Bank's Forward '28 strategy.

  • Define architectural frameworks and guide business and technological initiatives
  • Lead complex deliveries through structured planning and dependency management
  • Build progressive engineering culture where IT professionals flourish
  • Apply modern development practices including GenAI across the housing segment
  • Collaborate with other tribes to shape broader business strategies
  • Mentor team members and develop strong leaders within the organisation

About You

  • Solid background in computer science, software engineering, or related field
  • Understand and apply modern architectural principles, including microservices, containerization and multi-cloud environments within a business framework
  • Ability to balance vision, strategy, business value, and technology
  • Strong communication skills for engaging diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Passion for mentoring and developing IT professionals
  • Fluent in English as this is our company language

GenAI implementation experience would strengthen your application further.

This position can be located both in Denmark and Lithuania. If you are hired in Lithuania, the applicable salary range will be from 6800 to 10200 EUR monthly (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
