IT Manager - Relocation to Manila - Uruguay & Argentina

We are looking for an IT Manager to join our offices in Manila, Philippines.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who enjoys both developing products and leading a team. You will be directly involved in software development and technical decision-making while managing priorities, coordinating projects, and working closely with business and technology stakeholders across our global teams.

What you will be doing

Product Development & Technology

• Develop and enhance products, applications, integrations, and technical capabilities.

• Work hands-on with software development, APIs, databases, and other parts of the technology stack.

• Translate business needs into practical, scalable technology solutions.

• Review technical solutions, make recommendations, and contribute to key architectural and technical decisions.

• Identify opportunities to improve automation, scalability, security, and reliability.

• Drive the adoption of AI and modern development tools across the technology function.

Team & Project Management

• Lead and mentor the technology team in Manila while remaining actively involved in technical delivery.

• Manage technology projects, priorities, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams.

• Work closely with product, business, and global technology teams to deliver solutions aligned with business needs.

• Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly to management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in IT or technology, including team leadership and hands-on software development experience.

• Experience managing technology projects and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Experience with AI-assisted development and modern technology tools, such as Claude Code.

• Comfortable working in international and fast-paced environments.

• Strong English communication skills.
