IT Operations Coordinator - Banking

We are looking for a hands-on IT Operations Manager to support the bank’s day-to-day technology operations, ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and coordinate technology-related activities with ZEN.COM Group.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in IT operations, IT management, technology governance or a similar role, preferably in banking or financial services.

• Practical understanding of IT infrastructure, banking systems, information security and technology controls.

• Familiarity with NBU requirements or other regulatory frameworks applicable to IT operations in Ukrainian financial institutions.

• Experience maintaining IT documentation, policies, procedures, risk registers or audit evidence.

• Understanding of vendor management, incident management, access controls and business continuity arrangements.

• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and work effectively with external providers and central technology teams.

• A structured, hands-on approach, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership of operational matters.

• Good communication skills and fluency in English.

Responsibilities:

• IT Operations: Coordinate day-to-day IT operations, monitor system availability and ensure that infrastructure and banking systems function reliably.

• Regulatory Compliance & IT Governance: Maintain IT policies, procedures, registers and documentation required by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) and other applicable regulations.

• Technology Risk Management: Support the identification and monitoring of IT risks, control implementation, incident management and regulatory remediation activities.

• Cybersecurity & Business Continuity: Coordinate with the CISO and relevant teams on security controls, access management, incident response, business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements.

• Banking Systems & Infrastructure: Oversee local IT infrastructure and banking systems, coordinate technical support and ensure issues are resolved in cooperation with internal teams and external providers.

• Vendor Management: Coordinate relationships with IT vendors and contractors, monitor service delivery and ensure contractual obligations and SLAs are met.

• Group Collaboration: Act as the local point of contact for ZEN.COM’s central technology, security and infrastructure teams, supporting the implementation of Group standards and solutions.

• IT Projects & Reporting: Coordinate local technology initiatives, track implementation progress and prepare operational and regulatory reports.

• Documentation & Audit Support: Prepare and maintain evidence of IT controls, support internal and external audits, and follow up on identified findings.
