Location: Remote

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000, depending on experience

Work Hours: Monday - Friday (Standard Working Hours)

Position Summary

The Platform Product Manager owns the strategy, roadmap, and direction of Lakeside Book Company’s COMN platform, which supports critical business and manufacturing processes from customer order entry through production, inventory, shipping, and delivery. The role provides strategic product leadership by anticipating business and operational needs, translating them into a forward-looking product vision and strategy, and driving effective solutions that improve business performance, process consistency, system reliability, and user experience.

What You’ll Do

• Own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for Lakeside’s COMN platform, supporting processes from customer order entry through production, inventory, shipping, and delivery
• Partner with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Production Control, Materials, Finance, Sales, Distribution, and Technology to translate business needs into product priorities and solutions
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing strategic initiatives, operational improvements, integrations, technical needs, defects, and support requirements
• Drive process improvement and standardization across locations while improving platform performance, reliability, adoption, and user experience.
• Lead and develop the Business Analyst supporting COMN while coordinating internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery
• Serve as a key escalation point for COMN issues, driving cross-functional resolution and measuring the business impact of product investments

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in product management, enterprise applications, business analysis, software delivery, manufacturing systems, or a related field
• Experience owning the roadmap and lifecycle of a complex enterprise application, ERP, manufacturing system, order management system, or operational platform
• Strong understanding of product management practices, including discovery, prioritization, release planning, stakeholder management, and adoption
• Experience leading Business Analysts, technical professionals, or cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, ideally within manufacturing, print production, order management, supply chain, or distribution
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear requirements and priorities, with knowledge of Agile/software development, integrations, APIs, and application support; experience with legacy systems such as IBM i/AS400 is a plus
