The A4 CIO Support professional provides strategic, technical, and programmatic support to the Department of the Air Force Directorate of Resource Integration (AF/A4P) in the management, governance, modernization, and integration of the Air Force Basing & Logistics (B&L) Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) portfolio. The role supports the A4 Functional CIO mission across a portfolio of systems and initiatives by helping align technology investments, requirements, and modernization efforts with Department of War (DoW), Department of the Air Force (DAF), and A4 strategies and priorities.
This position works closely with government leadership, functional stakeholders, program offices, technical teams, and industry partners to support IT/OT portfolio governance, technology strategy and policy, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity and compliance activities, resource management, requirements development, business process improvement, and technology transformation. The individual may also support the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies, modernization initiatives, data and analytics capabilities, system migrations, and other efforts designed to reduce technical debt and improve logistics capabilities for the Warfighter.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating at the intersection of mission, business, and technology and can translate complex functional and technical challenges into actionable recommendations, decision-quality information, and coordinated initiatives for senior leadership.
