IT Project Manager

We are looking for an IT Project Manager who has experience on the IT service provider side and has independently led complex client projects from initiation through successful delivery, taking ownership of timelines, resources and financials. You understand business needs, contribute to shaping solution concepts and take ownership of the entire project lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifying and structuring client needs through workshops and consultations.
• Participating in requirements discovery, solution concept development and the presales process.
• End-to-end project management of AI-supported software development and cloud-based projects.
• Coordinating and supporting the work of project teams.
• Monitoring project delivery, resource and financial KPIs, and proactively managing deviations.
• Preparing status reports for clients and management.
• Managing risks, identifying issues and escalating when necessary.
• Ensuring projects are delivered successfully and achieve their business and financial objectives.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF

• you have 3–5 years of IT project management experience on the service provider side, leading client projects;
• you have independently led software development or digital client projects from requirements gathering through to successful delivery;
• in your previous projects, you took end-to-end responsibility for project planning, timelines, resource allocation and financial tracking;
• you are familiar with and actively use agile project management methodologies;
• you are confident managing multiple projects in parallel and can prioritise effectively in a changing business environment;
• you communicate confidently with both business decision-makers and technical experts and can effectively bridge the gap between different stakeholders;
• you have experience in requirements discovery, shaping solution proposals and supporting presales activities;
• you work with a consultative mindset, actively shaping and prioritising client needs;
• you have sufficient technical IT knowledge to collaborate effectively with developers, architects and other technical experts;
• you use modern AI-powered tools effectively to support documentation, reporting, project planning and project communication;
• you proactively manage risks, issues and escalations;
• you have confident, professional working proficiency in English, including in negotiations.

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with AI-based development, transformation or automation projects.
• German language skills.
• A background in software development, business analysis, solution consulting or another technical field.
