Summary

As Senior Manager, Project Management, you will play a key leadership role in turning strategic business objectives into successful outcomes. Leading a team of project managers, you will oversee a portfolio of large-scale programs across Europe, ensuring delivery excellence in a complex environment involving multiple stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments.

Working closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams, you will drive programs that shape the future of Amadeus AirOps Operations and the travel industry. This role combines strategic thinking, people leadership, stakeholder management, and operational excellence to deliver meaningful business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of project managers.
• Own a portfolio of strategic projects and programs across Europe.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Align program execution with business priorities and growth objectives.
• Drive governance, risk management, and project quality standards.
• Provide clear visibility of project progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, customers, and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate decision-making and alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement in project management practices and tools.
• Support the successful delivery of regulatory and business-critical initiatives.

About the Ideal Candidate

• 15+ years of experience in project and program management.
• Proven experience leading teams in complex international environments.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and talent development skills.
• Expertise in project governance, PMO standards, Agile methodologies, and risk management.
• Track record of delivering large-scale strategic programs successfully.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience working within the airport, aviation, or travel industry.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English.
