IT Quality Group Manager E2E Testing Automation Lead Sr Vice President

The role is a hands-on Test Automation Lead with a strong track record delivering scalable test automation in large, complex country transformation programs. you will help manage the team’s central automation team, providing technical leadership whilst partnering with functional testers and delivery teams across front, middle, and back-office applications. You will need strong experience in automation strategy, a deep understanding of modern test tooling and frameworks (including GenAI use cases) and are comfortable operating across cloud-native and on-prem environments and Test Data Management. You will be responsible for managing multiple talented test engineering teams across various regions, applications and business lines collaborating with development, business analysts, product and operations teams, delivering high-quality releases using best in class test automation engineering practices and tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with Agile Development teams, Product Managers, and Scrum Masters to ensure quality in Agile Sprints leading to UAT/E2E Testing Phase
• Drive day-to-day agile executions by leading a team of Agile Test Engineers, to deliver minimal viable product releases.
• Participate in agile backlog grooming sessions, daily scrum calls, epics/user story’s creation, and implementing the creation and automation of test scripts.
• Implement continuous testing strategy by integrating automated test scripts in CI/CD DevOps pipelines.
• Design, implement, and maintain a modular, reusable test automation framework centered on Selenium , UFT, Postman , SoapUI and Java Test Suite (incl. test automation, orchestrations, and GenAI-assisted test generation/analysis). Integrate API, UI, data, and workflow automation to validate complex cross-application processes and data lineage.
• Proficiency in implementing high-quality test data management (TDM) solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps & Test Env Management (TEM) teams to establish agile test environments.
• Collaborate with Agile release Train Engineers to implement continuous integrated releases into production

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years’ experience and proven track record leading global, multi-region testing/QE teams (onshore/offshore models), including managing both direct employees and vendor/contractor resources.
• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
• 10+ years’ experience and demonstrated success driving large-scale test automation transformations - measurably increasing automation coverage, reducing regression cycle times, and reducing manual testing effort/backlog.
• Hands-on experience (current or recent) with modern test automation frameworks and approaches, such as: BDD frameworks: Cucumber/Gherkin UI/API automation: Playwright (TypeScript), Selenium Test management platforms: Zephyr, Octane, or equivalent enterprise test management tooling CI/CD and test execution infrastructure at scale (e.g., FAST or equivalent internal test-runner/dashboarding platforms)
• Direct experience piloting or scaling GenAI/AI-based tooling in a software development or testing context - e.g., AI-assisted test generation, AI code/test review copilots, agentic coding/testing platforms, or AI-powered defect triage - with the ability to speak credibly and technically to these solutions
• Highly experienced in setting up Agile Quality engineering teams and possess Agile & Quality related certifications like CSTE, CSQA, ISTQB, SAFE Agile Certification etc.
• Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional testing, manual and automation in waterfall, incremental and agile methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Web & API Test Automation.
• Highly proficient in automating ETL Testing processes in various RDBMS.
• Advocate of Quality Engineering process, continuous Improvement and industry recognized best practices.
• Experience with Continuous Integration Testing in DevOps pipeline.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expertise in Automation at all layers, Selenium with Java-BDD Framework, REST API testing, SQL/Oracle, and Junit Testing Frameworks.
• Experience with at least one Scripting language – Unix/Linux Shell, VBScript , Python.
• Managed Test Support Services like Test Data Management, Service Virtualization, and Test Environment Management.
• Should have experience in designing and developing advanced Test Automation Frameworks.
• Experience in DevOps TeamCity/Jenkins, Postman, Bit Bucket, JIRA etc.
• Experience in Cloud native testing in scalable and dynamic containerized environments.
• Must have good experience in testing Microservices in Cloud Environments.
• Experience in chaos test engineering techniques.
