IT Risk & Security Officer

Role Summary

The IT Risk & Security Officer is responsible for strengthening ATRAM’s technology risk and cybersecurity environment through effective security governance, risk oversight, and security operations. The role safeguards the organization’s technology assets by managing security tools, strengthening vulnerability and incident management, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, governance, and access-control requirements.

What Business Outcomes the Role is Responsible for

• Strengthen IT Risk, Governance & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain effective technology risk and access governance practices that strengthen controls, support regulatory compliance, and proactively identify and address IT security risks.
• Enhance Cybersecurity & Security Assurance: Improve the organization’s security posture through effective ownership and oversight of cybersecurity tools, vulnerability management, application security, threat prevention, and remediation.
• Strengthen Incident Management & Operational Resilience: Enhance threat detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities to enable timely resolution of security events, minimize business disruption, and strengthen organizational resilience.

What We’re Looking For in a Successful Candidate

• Educational & Technical Foundation: Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT security controls, and security technologies.
• Cybersecurity & Security Operations Experience: Brings relevant experience in Security Operations Center (SOC), Application Security, or Cybersecurity Operations, with the ability to support vulnerability management, threat monitoring, incident response, and security assurance.
• Risk Mindset & Stakeholder Collaboration: Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, sound risk judgment, and the ability to collaborate across Technology and business teams to balance security requirements with operational and business needs.
