Job Title: IT Security Analyst (1-Year Contract)
Location: Columbus, OH
Work Model: Hybrid — Tuesday through Thursday onsite, Monday and Friday remote
Rate: $60–$64.82/hour
Contract Duration: October 26, 2026 – October 25, 2027
Possibility of Extension: Yes, strong possibility

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Analyst to support Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations with a primary focus on CyberArk privileged access management. This role will work closely with IT Service Delivery, IT Operations, IT Support Services, business teams, project managers, and third-party service providers to support IAM processes, resolve access-related issues, maintain security documentation, and ensure IAM services operate effectively.

The position requires strong hands-on experience with CyberArk PVWA / EPV, along with working knowledge of account management across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, PowerShell, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. Additional CyberArk capabilities such as PSM, CCP, APV-AIM, and CCM are highly valuable.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting IAM and privileged access issues in a complex enterprise environment. This person should be capable of working across internal and external teams, supporting audits, identifying root causes, and helping ensure IAM processes and security services remain reliable, documented, and aligned with service expectations.

Key Responsibilities

CyberArk & Privileged Access Management

  • Support day-to-day operations of CyberArk privileged access management services.
  • Administer and troubleshoot CyberArk PVWA / EPV environments.
  • Support privileged account onboarding, access management, credential management, and related operational processes.
  • Assist with troubleshooting CyberArk-related access, authentication, account, and connectivity issues.
  • Support additional CyberArk components such as PSM, CCP, APV-AIM, and CCM as applicable.
  • Partner with the CyberArk Product Owner and IAM leadership to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Help ensure privileged access services are operating effectively and in accordance with established standards.

Identity & Access Management Operations

  • Perform and support IAM operational processes across enterprise systems and applications.
  • Work closely with IT Service Delivery, IT Operations, IT Support Services, and business unit professionals.
  • Support identity and account management activities involving:
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • PowerShell
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Investigate and resolve IAM-related incidents and service requests.
  • Help identify recurring access issues and recommend process or technical improvements.
  • Escalate complex security or access issues to appropriate engineering, vendor, or service provider teams.

Incident Resolution & Troubleshooting

  • Resolve IAM and CyberArk-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring or complex access problems.
  • Gather information from users, systems, logs, and service providers to diagnose issues.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to restore services and resolve access problems.
  • Document issue resolution, corrective actions, and known problems.
  • Help reduce recurring incidents through process improvement and problem management activities.

Service Provider Coordination

  • Maintain a strong understanding of service provider security operations, capabilities, processes, and delivery responsibilities.
  • Monitor service provider performance related to IAM and CyberArk services.
  • Assist with reporting on service provider operations as directed by the IAM Manager or CyberArk Product Owner.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with third-party service providers.
  • Help ensure external providers meet agreed-upon service levels, quality expectations, and operational requirements.
  • Escalate service delivery concerns when appropriate.

Project Support & Delivery Coordination

  • Work with project managers and service provider personnel to support IAM-related project activities.
  • Track and monitor IAM projects and workstreams to ensure business needs are addressed.
  • Help monitor project commitments related to schedule, quality, scope, and service levels.
  • Identify IAM dependencies, risks, and operational requirements that may affect project delivery.
  • Support implementation and transition of IAM solutions into operational support.
  • Participate in project meetings, status discussions, and technical working sessions as needed.

Audit, Compliance & Documentation

  • Facilitate audits of IAM Security Services and related processes.
  • Gather and validate evidence needed to support internal or external audit activities.
  • Confirm that IAM and security service procedures, supporting documentation, and operational materials are available and current.
  • Help maintain procedures, runbooks, knowledge articles, and process documentation.
  • Identify documentation gaps and coordinate updates with process owners.
  • Support compliance-related activities involving privileged access and identity management.

Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze IAM processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support development and refinement of IAM operational processes and procedures.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance reliability, security, service quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Help standardize IAM processes across teams and service providers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support CyberArk PVWA / EPV operations.
  • Investigate privileged access and IAM incidents.
  • Troubleshoot account-management issues involving Active Directory, Entra ID, PowerShell, and RHEL.
  • Coordinate with IT operations, support teams, project managers, and service providers.
  • Resolve or escalate access-related issues.
  • Review IAM service performance and operational concerns.
  • Maintain procedures, runbooks, and supporting documentation.
  • Support audit evidence collection and process reviews.
  • Track IAM-related project activities and service provider commitments.
  • Perform root cause analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide status updates to IAM leadership and the CyberArk Product Owner.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of experience supporting CyberArk PVWA / EPV or similar CyberArk privileged access management environments.
  • Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management concepts and operational processes.
  • Knowledge and experience with account management across:
    • Active Directory
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • PowerShell
    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • Experience troubleshooting IAM and privileged access issues.
  • Experience supporting enterprise security or IAM operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with process analysis and process development.
  • Strong root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively across technical teams, business groups, project teams, and service providers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work onsite Tuesday through Thursday in Columbus, OH.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on IAM and CyberArk professional with strong operational experience supporting privileged access within a complex enterprise environment. They should be comfortable troubleshooting account and access issues, working across Active Directory, Entra ID, PowerShell, and RHEL environments, and coordinating with both internal technical teams and external service providers.

The strongest candidates will bring direct experience with CyberArk PVWA / EPV, strong analytical and root cause analysis skills, and the ability to support audit, documentation, project, and service delivery activities while maintaining a high level of responsiveness and attention to detail.
