We’re headquartered in Miami with a growing team in Quito, and we partner with U.S. private equity firms, real estate investment groups, and capital raising teams across the U.S. As our team continues to grow, we’re looking for an IT Support Intern to join our IT team and help us provide reliable, efficient day-to-day technical support across the organization. The Role As our IT Support Intern , you’ll provide first-level technical support to internal users and assist with the management and maintenance of company devices, accounts, equipment, and internal systems. You’ll work closely with our IT team to handle support requests, configure equipment, manage user access and licenses, document IT processes, and help improve the way we provide technical support across the company. If you’re proactive, organized, comfortable solving technical problems, and excited to gain hands-on experience in IT operations within a growing fintech company, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Provide first-level technical support to internal users, including hardware, software, and access requests Handle and follow up on IT support tickets Support the management and maintenance of company devices, accounts, and equipment Configure and maintain laptops, user access, and software licenses Support user and permissions administration across internal systems, including Microsoft 365 Assist with troubleshooting day-to-day technical issues Help document IT processes, support requests, and incidents Maintain organized and accurate IT records Support the implementation of IT process improvements Work closely with the IT team to ensure employees receive timely and effective technical support What We’re Looking For Currently in the final year of a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field Basic understanding of hardware, software, and operating systems Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or similar workplace tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset Ability to learn independently and take ownership of assigned tasks Proactive attitude and willingness to learn English proficiency to communicate effectively with our U.S.-based team Bonus Points For: Previous experience providing technical support or working with IT tickets Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration Experience setting up or configuring laptops and user accounts Basic knowledge of user permissions, licenses, and access management Interest in IT operations, systems administration, or cybersecurity What You’ll Get Opportunity to validate pre-professional internship hours Hands-on experience in IT operations within a growing fintech company Direct exposure to Microsoft 365, device management, user access, and IT support processes Experience supporting an international team across Ecuador and the U.S. Mentorship and hands-on training from our IT team Hybrid work setup Opportunities to learn, grow, and develop your career in IT Ready to Join the IFT Team?
