The opportunity

As an IT System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT systems, networks, and cloud environments. You will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, security, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Active Directory (AD), hybrid cloud environments, Microsoft 365 administration, cloud platforms (Azure) and enterprise storage solutions.

What you will focus on

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, enterprise storage, virtualization platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Administer and optimize Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and Identity & Access Management services across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Defender), ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain enterprise storage solutions and backup/disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity, data availability, and security.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to improve system administration and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, storage, database, and cloud-related issues in collaboration with IT support and development teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, system architectures, and operational procedures while contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in System Engineering, IT Infrastructure, and Cloud Administration.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policies, Identity & Access Management, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Hands-on experience in hybrid cloud environments, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud services.
• Experience with enterprise storage solutions, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and Windows/Linux administration.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure deployment, security, and optimization.
• Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, access management, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle databases would be considered an asset.
