# JUNIOR IT SYSTEM ENGINEER

## About the Role

ROCKEN® is seeking a **Junior IT System Engineer** for a role based in **Zurich, Switzerland**. The position focuses on IT administration, technical support, and maintaining stable IT infrastructure for customer environments.

You will provide both remote and on-site customer support, monitor and maintain IT systems, install and configure hardware and servers, troubleshoot technical issues, and support the administration and further development of **Microsoft, VMware, and Hyper-V environments**.

## Key Responsibilities

* Provide remote and on-site support for customer IT environments.

* Monitor, maintain, and ensure stable operation of IT infrastructure.

* Install and configure servers, PCs, laptops, and peripheral devices.

* Analyze and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth system operation.

* Support the administration and further development of Microsoft environments.

* Support VMware and Hyper-V environments.

* Perform IT system installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

* Provide technical support to customers at their locations when required.

## Required Qualifications

* Solid knowledge of **IT administration** and technical support.

* Good experience with **Microsoft technologies, VMware, and Hyper-V**.

* Practical experience with IT system installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

* **Category B driver's license** for on-site customer support.

* Very good **German and English** language skills.

* Ability to provide both remote and on-site technical support.

## Preferred Qualifications
