IT Vendor Management Analyst (Telecom & Infrastructure services)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Strategic Vendor Management Analyst to support a large-scale Infrastructure Vendor Management organization responsible for managing a complex portfolio of technology suppliers, telecom providers, software licensing agreements, maintenance contracts, and infrastructure-related services. This position will work closely with Infrastructure, Networking, Telecommunications, Procurement, Finance, and Vendor Management stakeholders to oversee contract renewals, hardware/software maintenance agreements, telecom billing activities, and vendor performance management. The role will play a critical part in supporting enterprise initiatives related to data center modernization, infrastructure consolidation, and technology lifecycle management. The ideal candidate combines vendor management experience, infrastructure knowledge, contract administration expertise, and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a large portfolio of vendor contracts, maintenance agreements, renewals, and licensing arrangements.
• Support enterprise infrastructure teams by overseeing vendor relationships across hardware, software, networking, and telecommunications services.
• Review, reconcile, and validate telecom invoices, maintenance renewals, and technology-related expenditures.
• Ensure vendor accounts, contracts, assets, and billing records remain accurate and up to date.
• Partner with internal business stakeholders to support contract renewals, procurement activities, and service changes.
• Track and manage infrastructure-related assets including networking equipment, routers, switches, circuits, and supporting technologies.
• Serve as a liaison between internal technology teams and external vendors regarding contract terms, service delivery, billing disputes, and renewals.
• Support ongoing data center consolidation and technology modernization initiatives.
• Analyze vendor spend and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost optimization.
• Assist with purchase requests, software licensing reviews, hardware maintenance agreements, and procurement workflows.
• Monitor service agreements and vendor performance metrics.
• Prepare reports related to contract status, renewals, telecom expenses, and vendor activity.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Technology teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement, Telecom Billing, Contract Administration, Technology Asset Management, or related disciplines.
• Experience managing technology vendors, service providers, or telecommunications carriers.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments, including networking, data centers, hardware, and supporting software platforms.
• Experience handling contract renewals, maintenance agreements, software licensing, or technology procurement activities.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with experience reviewing invoices, contracts, and vendor spend.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and large volumes of contracts simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise Infrastructure, Network, Data Center, or Telecommunications organizations.
• Exposure to technology vendors and carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cisco, Dell, HPE, VMware, Microsoft, or similar providers.
• Experience working with ServiceNow.
• Experience using SAP Ariba or other procurement platforms.
• Knowledge of telecom expense management, asset management, and vendor governance processes.
• Experience supporting large-scale contract portfolios and enterprise technology spend

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
