As an IT Vendor & Service Lead, you will take ownership of the governance and coordination of outsourced IT services. You will monitor service quality, closely follow up on contracts and SLAs, and ensure that external vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders remain aligned.
You will look beyond short-term operational needs, ensuring that IT services remain reliable, future-proof, and optimally organized while protecting the company's interests.
In this role, you will:
- Bring together vendors, IT, and business stakeholders, establishing clear agreements, realistic expectations, and a shared focus on service quality.
- Monitor contracts, SLAs, and vendor performance, critically assessing results and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Organize and document regular tactical and strategic vendor meetings.
- Maintain a clear overview of ongoing topics, contracts, deadlines, administration, reporting, and process quality.
- Contribute to lifecycle management, ensuring the timely renewal, replacement, and optimization of applications and tools, without being responsible for their technical management.
- Clearly represent and protect the company's interests, including when vendor priorities differ from internal business priorities.
We are looking for someone with:
- Fluent Dutch
- Experience in vendor management, contract management, SLA management, or a similar IT service governance role.
- A solid understanding of IT service management and frameworks such as ITIL; experience with Agile/Scrum is an advantage.
- Strong professional communication skills, combining diplomacy with a direct and pragmatic approach.
- Experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- The confidence to challenge vendors constructively and intervene when performance or service quality needs improvement.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a long-term perspective.
- Knowledge or experience within the banking and/or insurance sector is considered an advantage.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a people-oriented environment.
- Strong opportunities for professional and personal development, supported by training and individual development initiatives.
- A values-driven working environment focused on integrity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship.
- An inclusive and collaborative company culture where people from diverse backgrounds work together as one team.
- A competitive salary based on experience, including a company car and an extensive package of additional benefits.
- Flexible benefits, potentially including additional leave days and bike leasing.
- A flexible remote-working policy.
