Itemization Review Coordinator
CERISThe Itemization Review Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a consistent workflow by distributing claims to auditing teams. This role creates documents, reports, and keeps track of current claim volume on an individual basis to ensure even distribution throughout the department.
This is a remote position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor incoming and existing claims and distribute to auditing teams as instructed by leadership
- Maintain and update departmental spreadsheets and team calendars
- Generate daily reports as needed for day-to-day team functions
- Compile productivity data and distribute to leadership as instructed
- Respond and triage email requests from other teams promptly
- Identify and document process improvements for team efficiency
- Identify and relay challenges to leadership quickly
- Attend meetings to take notes and distribute as needed
- Responsible for tracking and providing trends of team stats as needed by leadership
- Promote a positive team environment
- Participate in collaborative projects with other teams and groups
- Promptly respond to additional leadership requests
- Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communication
- Additional duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy during data entry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as a strong collaborator
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
- 2 years of experience bill in a clinical/medical office environment preferred
- Experience with Medical Technology preferred
- Professional office experience preferred
PAY RANGE:
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.
For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.
Pay Range: $24.30 - $36.30 per hour
