What You'll do: - Define the functional and technical architecture for enterprise applications and digital solutions. - Produce clear, implementation-ready technical specifications and architectural documentation. - Ensure solutions comply with architectural standards, security requirements, quality standards, and non-functional requirements. - Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle - Guide and support development teams during implementation, ensuring alignment with the target architecture. - Design and review microservices-based, cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Define API strategies using REST (OpenAPI) and event-driven integrations using AsyncAPI. - Promote software engineering best practices, DevOps principles, and CI/CD processes. - Ensure solutions comply with European data protection regulations (GDPR/EUDPR) and security standards where applicable. - Review technical designs, identify architectural risks, and recommend improvements to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. Who You Are: - Experienced Application Architect with a strong background in designing scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices. - Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs (OpenAPI), and asynchronous integrations (AsyncAPI). - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architectures. - Able to translate business and functional requirements into implementation-ready technical specifications. - Strong understanding of software architecture principles, application security, and development best practices. - Familiar with architectural patterns such as Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Event-Driven Architecture, CQRS, and Event Sourcing (desirable). - Knowledge of IAM, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and secure application design (desirable). - Experience with MongoDB, data modelling, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and GDPR/EUDPR compliance is an advantage. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to guide development teams and ensure successful solution delivery. - Must hold European Union citizenship , as the role supports European Union projects.
