We are currently looking for: Java Back End – Junior Requirements: We are currently looking for a Java Back End – Junior to join a challenging project, contributing to the development and enhancement of scalable, high-performing software solutions using modern frameworks and Agile practices. Required Competencies: Strong/expert proficiency in Java Spring Experience developing and enhancing backend software components Ability to execute development tasks independently while applying development best practices and standards Ability to identify and resolve technical challenges by analysing recurring patterns and proposing effective solutions Experience collaborating with team members to continuously improve software components and development processes Active participation in Sprint Planning and Review sessions Ability to contribute to team discussions and provide solutions to development-related challenges Knowledge-sharing mindset to support team goals and collective technical expertise Knowledge of modern software development and Agile practices English – minimum C1 Availability to work 3 days per week at the office in Lisbon Preferred Competencies: Microservices Architecture Amazon Simple Queue Service (SQS) Docker Kubernetes Architecture MongoDB MySQL Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proactive and collaborative mindset Ability to work with increasing autonomy Good communication and teamwork skills Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise Knowledge-sharing mindset Focus on quality and continuous improvement Location: Lisbon – Hybrid Work Model: 3 days per week at the office Salary Range: €1.600–€1.900 gross/month Note: Includes all components: Fixed, Variable, Meal Allowance, Remote Work, and Benefits.
