More specifically, you will be responsible for… Designing and implementing robust backend solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Leading the technical design of new features and enhancements. Coordinating and mentor other Java developers within the team. Reviewing code and ensuring compliance with coding standards and best practices. Driving software quality through design reviews, testing and continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA engineers and DevOps engineers. Analysing complex functional and technical requirements and translating them into scalable solutions. Ensuring maintainability, performance and security of developed solutions. Supporting CI/CD processes and participating in release activities. Providing second-line production support, root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues. C1 level English 6+ years of experience as a Java Developer including time as a Senior Java Developer Excellent knowledge of Java 17 Spring Framework / Spring Boot JPA / Hibernate SQL Design and implementation of REST APIs Strong experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging technologies Maven JUnit CI/CD pipelines Git Nice to Have Experience in the financial services or banking sector Azure DevOps Liquibase SOAP web services
