Your Next Challenge

We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Backend Developer with at least 4 years of professional experience to join a team working on Checkout, MyAccount, and ODR Processing products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable microservices, owning features throughout their lifecycle, and contributing to architectural decisions. You will also support and mentor junior engineers while helping ensure high engineering standards across the team.

What You’ll Work On

• Design and implement scalable Java microservices for Checkout, MyAccount, and ODR Processing features.
  
• Own the full feature lifecycle, from architecture discussions and implementation to testing, code reviews, and deployment.
  
• Integrate and configure IAM flows using Keycloak and Okta, including OIDC, RBAC, and token customization.
  
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs, ensuring comprehensive OpenAPI documentation.
  
• Implement event-driven architectures and messaging patterns using AWS SQS and Solace.
  
• Ensure code quality and security standards through SonarQube, Snyk, and effective code review practices.
  
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the squad.
  
• Participate in architectural decisions and help shape the client's engineering standards.
  

What You’re Looking For

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
  
• Strong experience designing and developing Java microservices.
  
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
  
• Knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and API documentation.
  
• Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM), particularly Keycloak, Okta, OIDC, RBAC, and token customization.
  
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies, ideally AWS SQS and Solace.
  
• Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.
  
• Experience with testing, code reviews, and deployment processes.
  
• Ability to take ownership of features and contribute to technical and architectural discussions.
  
• Good communication skills and the ability to mentor and support junior team members.
  

Bonus Points

• Experience working with Checkout, MyAccount, or Order Processing solutions.
  
• Previous experience defining or contributing to engineering standards.
