Jr. Tax Analyst

About the job Our client, large beauty retail company, is looking for a remote Jr. Tax Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully remote role working on eastern time zone hours. The successful candidate will multi-state tax experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered. Role Overview: Contract Role: 4-5 months through tax season, possibility of extension based on need Pay: $25/hr on W2 Schedule: 40 hours per week, standard working hours in eastern time zone Responsibilities: Recommend changes to help improve the tax filing process Coordinate information received from businesses to prepare tax returns Recognize tax savings opportunities Escalate tax errors or issues to management Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred 2+ years of multi-state tax experience Accounting background with knowledge of debits & credits Large volume client experience is helpful Experience with ADP Smart Compliance or Oracle HCM is highly preferred
