About Trustap

Trustap is an Irish fintech helping marketplaces and e-commerce businesses make online transactions safer and more profitable. Our platform brings together payments, fraud prevention, fulfilment tracking and customer support, helping businesses reduce costs and giving buyers and sellers greater confidence when they transact.

Founded in Cork, we now work with customers internationally, with a team across Ireland, the UK, Europe and the US. In June 2026, we raised $10 million in funding led by Aperture Capital to support product development and team expansion, including technology that enables purchases through AI agents.

We’re building a business in a market where trust, cost and customer experience directly affect whether a sale happens. Our sales team works with founders and commercial leaders to understand those challenges and show where Trustap can make a measurable difference.

The opportunity

You’ve gained experience in sales and are ready for your next step. That might mean moving from a BDR or SDR role into closing, or bringing your sales experience from another industry into tech.

As our Junior Account Executive, your primary responsibility will be managing Trustap’s inbound sales pipeline. You’ll be the first commercial contact for businesses interested in Trustap, understanding their needs, assessing fit and guiding qualified opportunities from initial enquiry through to a signed agreement.

Working closely with our VP of Sales, you’ll develop your skills in discovery, product demonstrations, commercial proposals and negotiation. You’ll own the follow-through on inbound interest, with coaching to help you build product knowledge, make sound qualification decisions and win new customers.

What you’ll do

  • Manage incoming sales enquiries, respond promptly and qualify each business for fit, need and readiness to buy.
  • Run discovery calls with business owners and decision-makers to understand their payment setup, priorities and buying process, then agree clear next steps.
  • Deliver relevant product demonstrations and explain how Trustap fits the customer’s business.
  • Use customer data to help build proposals that clearly explain the commercial value of moving to Trustap.
  • Prioritise your inbound pipeline, maintain consistent follow-up and progress qualified opportunities through objections, negotiation and close.
  • Maintain an accurate CRM and forecast, with clear next steps and a realistic view of each opportunity.
  • Work with product and onboarding colleagues to set clear expectations and help customers move from agreement to go-live.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience as a BDR, SDR or in another sales role, with examples of achieving targets, qualifying opportunities or winning customers.
  • A clear motivation to build a career in tech sales and take ownership of customer conversations and commercial results.
  • Curiosity about how businesses operate and the ability to ask questions that get beyond surface-level interest.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including confident conversations with founders and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong organisation and follow-through. You can prioritise new enquiries while keeping existing opportunities moving.
  • A willingness to seek feedback, put it into practice and keep improving.
  • Comfort working with numbers and learning how pricing, transaction costs and payment volumes affect a customer’s business.

We welcome applicants from both tech and other industries. Previous experience in payments or a closing role is not required. We’re looking for evidence of sales ability, sound judgement and a willingness to learn.

Why join Trustap

  • Take ownership of an inbound pipeline. Work with businesses that have expressed interest in Trustap and develop the skills to turn that interest into new customers.
  • Learn directly from sales leadership. Get practical coaching on discovery, deal strategy, negotiation and managing your pipeline.
  • Sell a product with a clear business impact. Help customers understand where they can reduce payment costs, manage risk and improve the transaction experience.
  • Join at a meaningful stage of growth. Our recent funding supports further product development and team expansion, giving you exposure to a business building its international presence.
  • Have a voice in how we sell. Share what you hear from customers and contribute to our messaging, sales process and product feedback.

What success looks like

Success means responding promptly to enquiries, qualifying accurately and keeping opportunities moving with clear next steps. As you ramp, you’ll be measured on conversion through the sales process, new customers won and revenue delivered against agreed targets. You’ll also maintain a reliable CRM and give the team a clear view of your pipeline. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in our Dublin office.
