Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. As part of our team in Abu dhabi, you'll work in a REMOTE environment and play a key role in supporting daily financial operations, processing invoices, managing purchase orders, handling VAT submissions, and maintaining accurate bank details. Responsibilities
- Review and process invoices for payment in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders (PO) and ensure compliance with internal policies
- Assist with VAT filings, ensuring correct calculations and documentation
- Support reconciliation of bank statements and handle bank details securely
- Assist senior accountants with monthly and quarterly closing processes
- Contribute to the preparation of regular finance reports
Must have requirements
- Proven knowledge of finance basics and accounting principles
- Experience in processing invoices
- Previous involvement with purchase orders (PO)
- Understanding of VAT rules and submissions
- Experience working with and maintaining accurate bank details
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely
Nice to have requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle)
- Previous remote work experience
- Familiarity with UAE or Gulf region financial regulations
