We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team and support the day‑to‑day financial operations of the business. This role is ideal for someone who is diligent, organised, eager to learn, and ready to grow within a fast‑moving, remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Assist in the aged debtor collection process
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and employee expense claims
• Assist in the preparation of the yearly financial audit
• Support payroll administration
• Handle ad-hoc finance tasks and projects throughout the year
• Ensure compliance with internal finance procedures and controls at all times

Requirements — Experience & Skills

• 2–3 years’ experience in a finance role, preferably within the iGaming industry
• Currently in the process of obtaining an Accountancy qualification
• Good knowledge of Maltese VAT law (considered an asset)
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• High level of integrity and professional ethics
• Diligent, organised, and able to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Eager to learn, grow, and deliver on expectations
• A strong team player who contributes to a positive and dynamic working environment
