Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

That's why we're partnering with an international group to find a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist for its growing Shared Service Center in Sofia.

About the Role:

As a Junior AP Specialist, you'll support day-to-day Accounts Payable activities, helping ensure invoices are processed accurately and vendors receive timely support. This is a great opportunity to build your finance experience in an international team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices, checking details and supporting documentation.
• Help match invoices with purchase orders and resolve basic discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor queries and direct more complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Support vendor account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.
• Assist with AP reporting and routine administrative tasks.
• Follow company procedures and internal controls.
• Work with colleagues across Finance and other teams to resolve invoice-related questions.

Who We're Looking For:

• 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting, or a related finance role.
• Education in Economics, Accounting, or a similar field.
• Basic understanding of invoices and how they are processed.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Comfortable using Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Careful, organized, and eager to learn.
• Experience with SAP is an advantage.
