Junior AI Implementation Specialist

JHC Consulting is currently assisting a regional financial technology firm with the integration of automated decision systems and language models into their core operations. The Junior AI Implementation Specialist supports our principals by examining how these technical tools intersect with the client's existing governance frameworks and strategic goals. This is an entry level position designed for an individual who views technology through a lens of rigorous analysis and clear communication. We are an independent advisory practice that values the written word as the primary vehicle for thinking and counsel.
The Role
In this position, you will support the evaluation of AI systems for our fintech client, ensuring that every claim about a model's performance is backed by clear evidence. Your work is centered on the production of high quality written material. Your daily tasks will include:

• Reading and analyzing technical specifications provided by the client's engineering teams.
• Testing the logic of proposed AI implementations against the firm's internal governance policies.
• Drafting clear summaries of technical risks and operational limitations.
• Synthesizing research on machine learning safety and regulatory compliance for use in our memoranda.
• Reviewing data privacy protocols to ensure they meet the standards required by the financial sector.
• Participating in the internal revision process for client documents to ensure absolute clarity.
• Verifying the assumptions behind the client's automated systems through rigorous reading.

What You Bring
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a high degree of intellectual maturity and a disciplined approach to writing. While this is an entry level role, we expect a strong academic or project based foundation in both technology and analysis. You should have:

• A degree in computer science, philosophy, mathematics, or another field that requires intense analytical writing.
• A basic understanding of the architecture and function of large language models.
• The ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain, formal English without using jargon.
• Strong research skills and the ability to find inconsistencies in dense documentation.
• A professional approach to independent work within a remote environment.
• Experience with Python or similar tools for the purpose of testing and evaluating data.
• The courage to identify and name uncomfortable truths when a technical system fails to meet its requirements.
