This creates a need for a Junior AI Implementation Specialist to join our practice. In this fully remote role, you will help bridge the gap between technical AI capabilities and the strategic requirements of the client. Your work will focus on testing AI applications, evaluating their accuracy, and documenting how these systems should be integrated into the firm's broader professional standards.
The Role
As a Junior AI Implementation Specialist, you will spend much of your time engaged in rigorous reading and testing. You will examine how specific AI models respond to the financial group's internal data and reporting requirements. This is not a role centered on building software, but rather on the disciplined scrutiny of how software performs in a professional environment. Your primary task is to produce written memoranda that detail your findings. You will be expected to trace the logic of an AI output back to its prompt and data source, identifying where the logic holds and where it fails.
The day to day work involves the following activities:
- Testing various large language models and AI tools against specific financial datasets to evaluate their utility and risk.
- Drafting detailed reports that explain technical AI concepts in plain, precise English for an audience of non-technical executives.
- Synthesizing technical documentation into brief, readable guides that inform the client's internal policy decisions.
- Participating in internal reviews where your written work is challenged by the firm's principals to ensure complete analytical accuracy.
- Monitoring the performance of implemented AI tools to ensure they continue to meet the high standards of the South African financial group.
- Researching emerging AI methodologies to determine if they are mature enough for institutional use.
- Maintaining a clear record of all testing protocols and results to provide the client with a permanent audit trail of implementation decisions.
