Junior AI Implementation Specialist

Internal business processes often break down because of simple, avoidable friction in how tools talk to each other. We are helping a Nigerian fintech firm as it expands its reach, ensuring that their new automated systems actually solve problems rather than creating more work for their operations team.

The role
As a Junior AI Implementation Specialist, you will help bridge the gap between abstract AI tools and the daily tasks of a growing fintech company. This position exists to make sure that automated tools for customer support and data processing are grounded in reality and functioning as intended. You will focus on the practical side of these implementations, ensuring that the logic holds up when real users interact with the system.

What you will do

• Audit customer interaction logs to identify specific points where automated responses are failing or providing confusing information.
• Clean and organize internal datasets to ensure that the information used by the AI tools is accurate and formatted correctly.
• Map out the current logic of automated approval queues to find where applications are getting stuck or rejected unfairly.
• Draft and update standard operating procedures so the local operations team knows exactly how to step in when an automated process needs human review.
• Test different prompts and configurations to see which ones produce the most helpful answers for users in the new market.
• Monitor the performance of newly active tools every day and flag technical errors to the engineering team for immediate repair.
• Document every system change and logic adjustment clearly so the client can maintain the workflow after our project is finished.
• Verify that data flowing from the AI tools is correctly recorded in the main company database without errors or duplicates.

What we are looking for

• A strong sense of logic and the ability to look at a broken process and explain exactly where it went wrong.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, including the ability to use basic formulas and organize large amounts of information.
• Clear and concise writing skills, as most of our communication and all of our documentation is written.
• A genuine interest in how businesses use software to solve operational problems and improve customer experiences.
• The curiosity to spend time testing tools, breaking things, and finding edge cases that others might miss.
• The discipline to work effectively in a fully remote environment while staying focused on technical tasks.
• A basic understanding of how different software applications connect, even if you have not built those connections yourself.
• A preference for practical fixes over high level theories about how technology should work.

How we work
