Mosaic Conseil operates as a small, remote workshop dedicated to rebuilding business artifacts one at a time. We do not produce slide decks or participate in standing retainers. Instead, we take complex business files, such as three year plans or pricing grids, and put them back together against the evidence of the invoice ledger. Our process is personal and focused. Every file carries two names: one person who builds and one who argues against what was built. This ensures that every assumption is tested before a file closes.
We are currently engaged in a significant project for a leading Italian logistics firm. Our task is to audit and refine their internal decision making models. This Junior AI Support Specialist role is designed for a focused thinker who wants to work at the intersection of logical analysis and practical implementation within a fully remote environment.
About Mosaic Conseil
We keep the workshop small on purpose. By staying small and remote, we remain independent and focused on the evidence at the floor of the business. We focus on four specific rooms: financial services, industrial networks, growing software companies, and healthcare systems. Our work is handled on paper and backed by a telephone number that answers for ninety days. There are no meetings we did not schedule, and the people who do the work also answer their own phones. This is a place for individuals who prefer the discipline of deep work over corporate theater.
What you would do
In this role, you will assist in the technical auditing of AI models used by our logistics client. You will not be building abstract prototypes: you will be working with real artifacts used in their daily operations. Your daily tasks will involve checking model outputs against historical data and identifying where logic fails to meet the evidence of the ledger. You will be responsible for maintaining the technical documentation that supports our written arguments.
As a junior member of the team, you will participate in our builder and challenger process. You might spend the morning verifying the data inputs for a logistics route optimization model and the afternoon acting as the challenger for a colleague's financial forecast. You will learn how to take an automated output apart and explain why it works or why it fails. This role requires clear writing and a commitment to accuracy.
Helpful background
We are looking for someone with a high degree of technical comfort and a strong sense of intellectual curiosity. You do not need years of professional experience, but you do need to understand the basic principles of how data models and AI systems function. A background in computer science, mathematics, or a related field through studies or personal projects is useful.
You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic programming scripts to extract and verify information. Most importantly, you need the ability to write clearly and argue your points using evidence. We value the ability to say "I do not know yet" followed by the initiative to find the answer. Since we are a remote team, you must be a disciplined communicator who can manage their own schedule and focus without constant supervision.
How we work
Our workshop is 100 percent remote. We communicate through writing and scheduled calls rather than constant instant messaging. We believe that deep work requires long stretches of uninterrupted time. The builder and challenger dynamic is the core of our quality control. Every piece of work you produce will be scrutinized by a peer, and you will be expected to provide the same rigorous critique for them. This is not about hierarchy: it is about the integrity of the artifact. We return the same files the client sent us, redrawn by hand and supported by a written argument that stands up to questioning.
What the role offers
This is a permanent, full time position that is fully remote. You will have the autonomy to structure your day around the work that needs to be done. We offer a competitive salary that is attractive for this entry level role and the current market. Because we do not have an office, we invest in the people who make our workshop function. You will have direct access to experienced analysts who perform high level work for complex industrial networks. You will learn a method of analysis that prioritizes evidence over opinion and clarity over volume.
The work we do for the Italian logistics firm is demanding and requires a high level of concentration. We provide a space where you can develop your technical skills without the noise of a traditional corporate environment. Our goal is to ensure that by the time a file leaves our bench, it is as accurate as the data allows it to be.
