Candidate Preference:
Taiwanese candidates are preferred. We are also open to qualified overseas candidates based in Europe, Malaysia.
Working Arrangement:
Taiwan-based candidates can work either onsite in Taipei or from home (WFH).
Candidates based in Europe, Malaysia, can work remotely.
Language Requirements:
Mandarin is not mandatory. For candidates who do not speak Mandarin, fluent English is required.
Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining API services to ensure stable operations
• Write clean and readable backend code
• Assist in integrating with third-party APIs
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver new features
• Document APIs for internal usage and team communication
• Participate in testing and debugging under guidance

Requirements

• Familiar with at least one backend language such as PHP, Java, or Python
• Basic understanding and experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Basic knowledge of working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with Git; familiarity with Git Flow is a plus
• Strong willingness to learn and good team communication skills
• Awareness of code quality and system stability

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Postman, Swagger, or other API testing tools
• Previous internship or side project experience is a plus
• Passion for backend development and API design
