- Review existing materials to understand requirements, architecture, reports, and application behavior.
- Implement and support roles, authorization, and application security within integrated Oracle systems.
- Profile and tune applications and database components to improve performance and maintainability.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, release management, and post-production support.
- Prepare technical, functional, and system documentation.
- Produce reports for management, end users, and IT teams.
- Provide weekly status updates, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to client staff and developers.
Firmwide Associate Responsibilities
In addition to the Oracle modernization assignment, the associate may support other Forest Pond Associates projects as needs and workload permit. Responsibilities may include:
- Assist with research, data review, analysis, and documentation for client projects.
- Prepare and update project plans, meeting materials, status reports, procedures, and presentations.
- Attend client and internal meetings, take notes, and track decisions, action items, and follow-ups.
- Support requirements gathering, testing, quality review, and issue tracking across project work.
- Help organize project files and maintain accurate, current documentation.
- Coordinate with colleagues and clients to clarify tasks, share progress, and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to proposals, work plans, and other business development materials as appropriate.
- Learn and follow firm practices for client communication, confidentiality, quality, and project delivery.
- Take on additional project support duties consistent with the associate’s skills and experience.
