Junior Automotive UX/UI Designer

TXT E-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to join the UX team of a leading international automotive group.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design and evolution of digital experiences connected to the vehicle ecosystem, supporting the development of infotainment systems, mobile applications, and digital platforms for end users.

Responsibilities

• Define and enhance the user experience of infotainment systems and companion applications.
• Design user flows, wireframes, interactive mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Plan and conduct usability testing with end users, transforming insights into actionable design improvements.
• Analyse CX/UX metrics, monitor market trends, and benchmark competing solutions.
• Contribute to the definition and maintenance of the Design System by creating reusable UI components and interaction patterns.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to support ideation, prototyping, and interface exploration activities.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to define, prioritise, and plan new product features and enhancements.
  
  
  

RequirementsMust-Have Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer.
• Knowledge of User-Centered Design and Design Thinking methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and/or Miro.
• Understanding of Design Systems, reusable components, and design libraries.
• Familiarity with AI tools applied to the design process.
• Good command of both Italian and English.
  
  
  

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry, particularly in HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and infotainment systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle connectivity and telematics technologies.
• Familiarity with digital ecosystems connecting vehicles and mobile devices.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
