Junior Commodity Broker (PURE COMMISSION)

Role Description This full-time remote role for a Junior Commodity Broker is purely commission-based, focused on identifying, developing, and managing commodity trading opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing buyers and sellers, supporting negotiations, and assisting with deal structuring in line with market conditions and internal risk guidelines. The role involves monitoring commodity markets, gathering and analyzing market intelligence, and contributing to hedging and risk management strategies under guidance from senior brokers. The Junior Commodity Broker will also help coordinate documentation and logistics with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and settlement of transactions. This position requires proactive outreach, pipeline management, and consistent follow-up to build and expand a personal book of business.
Qualifications

• Understanding of commodity markets, including basic knowledge of Trading and Commodity Markets.
• Familiarity with Commodity Risk Management and Hedging concepts to support disciplined deal execution.
• Interest or experience in Brokerage activities, such as matching counterparties and supporting transaction closure.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and research skills, with the ability to interpret market data and pricing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a focus on professional, inclusive client interaction.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working on a pure-commission structure with performance-based income.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a global team.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
• Proficiency with basic office software, CRM tools, and online communication platforms.
