Show job description

At Clarion, our people are at the absolute heart of what we do. We’re proud that our core values of PASSION, CARE, IMAGINATION, and TRUST define the way we carry out our work across all of our teams.

If you share our values and want to be a part of a successful, dynamic, and creative global business then we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity:

Join Clarion's Digital Marketing Division and join the production team for two powerhouse brands: Affiliate Summit and Creator Economy Live. Reporting to the Head of Content, you'll curate market-leading agendas, recruit top-tier speakers and create memorable content experiences across the shows.

Affiliate Summit hosts the world's biggest affiliate marketing events (East and West), drawing thousands of global attendees who are shaping the future of performance marketing. Creator Economy Live is the definitive influencer marketing event for brands, experiencing 25%+ year-over-year growth since its 2023 launch as the creator economy continues to expand rapidly.

Our events break the traditional conference mould – we create dynamic, innovative experiences that bring together mass media publishers, affiliates, SMEs, bloggers, influencers, content creators and enterprise brands.

As consumer behaviours evolve and everybody is now shopping online, our events continue to grow at double-digit rates. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious producer to dive into a dynamic industry and make their mark.

The candidate:

We're looking for someone dynamic, proactive and ambitious, with a great work ethic and a real hunger to learn. You'll be curious about how industries work and who the key players are, confident picking up the phone, and keen to grow your production skills.

You'll also be comfortable with AI tools and understand how to use them well: to speed up research, sharpen your thinking and enhance your work, not to replace your own judgement or creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research the market across both the buy and sell side, to understand the challenges, trends and opportunities shaping affiliate and influencer marketing

  • Write commercial agendas that appeal to both delegates and sponsors, balancing educational value with commercial opportunity

  • Identify and recruit speakers who will drive audience acquisition and attendance

  • Build and maintain a network of industry connections across the community

  • Identify potential media partners to extend the reach of our events

  • Innovate the content experience by suggesting new formats, features and ideas to engage our audience

  • Use customer insights and data to inform content strategy and future initiatives

  • Monitor competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and help identify USPs for our events and digital products

  • Travel to our shows in New York and Las Vegas, as well as competitor events

  • Support the Head of Content with wider production tasks and processes across the portfolio

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Some experience in conference production, event content or research

  • Strong research skills, and the ability to quickly get to grips with a new industry

  • Commercial acumen, ability to understand how to turn topics into revenue

  • Confident communicator, comfortable reaching out to senior industry figures by phone, email and LinkedIn

  • Strong writing skills, with an eye for a compelling session title and description

  • Organised and able to meet deadlines, follow process and manage your own workload

  • Tech literate: able to pick up different platforms quickly, and comfortable using AI tools responsibly to enhance your work

  • Interest in digital marketing (affiliate, creator or influencer marketing a bonus)

  • Good at building relationships and keen to grow your own industry network

  • Proactive and full of ideas, unafraid to suggest new ways of doing things

  • Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

  • Curious, humble, with a relentless will to improve

  • Customer centric

  • Feedback obsessed
