About the role:
Are you passionate about GIS technology and looking for an opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and communication skills?
We're looking for a Junior Customer Success Consultant to join our Product Communications team at Esri UK on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you'll help create and deliver engaging technical communications, supporting customers and colleagues in understanding the capabilities and benefits of ArcGIS technology.
You'll work alongside experienced technical specialists and colleagues across the business, developing your ArcGIS expertise whilst helping communicate new products, features and updates to a range of audiences.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the creation of technical content, including blogs, webinars, product announcements and customer communications.
- Helping plan and prepare technical presentations for conferences, customer events and webinars.
- Researching new ArcGIS products, features and updates, and sharing information with colleagues.
- Working with Marketing and technical teams to create accurate, engaging content that helps customers understand our technology.
- Supporting internal communications, including technical updates and product information resources.
- Developing your hands-on ArcGIS knowledge and understanding how our technology can solve real-world challenges.
- Supporting product positioning activities by researching and communicating information about new and existing ArcGIS products.
What we're looking for:
- Some experience using ArcGIS in an academic or professional environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in explaining technical information to others.
- An enthusiasm for GIS technology and its real-world applications.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn, share knowledge and work with others.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive attitude and an interest in developing technical and presentation skills.
A degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science or a related subject would be beneficial, although equivalent skills, technical qualifications and experience will also be considered.
Previous experience creating technical content or delivering presentations would be advantageous, but isn't essential. We're equally interested in candidates who demonstrate the potential and enthusiasm to develop these skills.
