Junior Data Analyst

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to assist with data preparation, analysis, dashboard development, and business reporting. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to apply foundational data skills to client projects while working with experienced analytics professionals.

This is a remote, project-based position with flexibility around agreed milestones and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with collecting, cleaning, organising, and validating business data.
• Use SQL, Python, and Excel to prepare datasets and perform basic analysis.
• Explore data to identify trends, patterns, and inconsistencies.
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards using Power BI or Tableau.
• Prepare recurring reports to track business performance against defined KPIs.
• Summarise findings clearly and assist with preparing project presentations.
• Document data preparation steps, reporting logic, and analytical assumptions.
• Collaborate with project teams, communicate progress, and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
• Assist with cloud-based data tasks using AWS or Azure, where required, with guidance from the project team.

Candidate Profile

• 0–1 year of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related area. Fresh graduates with relevant coursework, internships, or personal projects are welcome to apply.
• Foundational knowledge of SQL, Python, and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Exposure to Power BI or Tableau through coursework, projects, or work experience.
• Basic understanding of descriptive statistics, data quality, and business reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in solving problems using data.
• Ability to communicate clearly, follow guidance, and incorporate feedback.
• Comfortable working remotely and managing assigned tasks against agreed deadlines.
