About the Role

Majesta Design is seeking a creative, articulate, and detail-oriented Junior Design Editor / Editorial Assistant to join our editorial team and contribute to a luxury interior design and architecture publication.

We are looking for a passionate storyteller with exceptional English writing skills, a refined editorial sensibility, and a genuine interest in architecture, luxury interiors, furniture, art, and contemporary design.

Key Responsibilities

* Research, write, and edit engaging articles covering luxury interiors, architecture, furniture, and design.

* Discover inspiring projects, emerging designers, and international design trends.

* Develop editorial features, designer profiles, interviews, and industry stories.

* Assist in conducting interviews with leading architects, interior designers, and creative professionals.

* Support the development of editorial calendars, magazine themes, and upcoming issues.

* Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.

* Coordinate with photographers, graphic designers, and external contributors.

* Assist with content selection, image research, captions, and editorial layouts.

* Contribute to both print and digital editorial platforms.

Candidate Profile

* Degree in Journalism, English Literature, Communications, Media, Publishing, or a related discipline.

* 0–3 years of experience in journalism, editorial writing, publishing, or content creation.

* Exceptional written English is essential.

* Strong research, interviewing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities.

* Genuine interest in luxury interior design, architecture, art, and lifestyle.

* Excellent attention to detail and a sophisticated editorial approach.

* Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and collaborate with a creative team.

* Previous experience with magazines, digital publications, or design-related media is an advantage.

* Familiarity with WordPress, Adobe InDesign, or publishing tools is a plus.
