Junior DVN Backend Engineer

Accountable is the new standard for real-time financial verification that allows institutions to prove assets and liabilities privately. Built for both traditional and crypto-native markets, the platform enables counterparties to demonstrate financial health without exposing sensitive details like API keys, wallet addresses or trading strategies.

At its core is the Data Verification Network (DVN), a privacy-preserving system that powers real-time proof of both onchain and offchain activity. On top of DVN, Accountable offers Vault-as-a-Service, a framework for structuring and managing capital onchain, and the YieldApp, the first marketplace built on DVN, surfacing verifiable yield opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and review code.
• Handle application deployments.
• Rapidly build and iterate on new features and MVPs using advanced technologies.
• Integrate with external protocols and data sources.
• Monitor clients and stay on top of protocol activity, TVL changes, secondary markets, and suspicious behavior.
• Respond to client issues and provide day-to-day technical support.
• Build and improve monitoring capabilities, leveraging on-chain tracing and internal tools.
• Support client onboarding and integration.
• Help migrate the UI to V2 and handle smaller ad-hoc development requests.

• Good understanding of backend technologies.
• Resourceful and self-motivated.
• Excellent general problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
• Up to date with latest developments in the space, a strong interest in staying on top of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Passionate about building and improving products and experimenting with new stuff.
• Professional integrity and dependability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Basic Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Languages used: Java.

Nice to have

• Hackathon participation and pet projects are a plus.
• Experience with dApp development libraries and frameworks is a big plus.
• Previous experience with lending protocols is a big plus.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography etc. is desirable.
