We're looking for a motivated Junior Game Support Agent to join our Customer Support team. It's a great way to build your knowledge of our games, work alongside Development and QA, and help shape the player experience.
In this entry-level role, you'll provide text-based support to players and learn the basics of our support processes, helping with day-to-day player inquiries. Strong written communication skills are important, as is a good eye for spotting patterns or pain points in the player experience.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Player Support
- Help players work through everyday gameplay, account, and technical questions.
- Learn from senior agents and pick up best practices for talking with players.
- Pass along trickier issues to the dev team and help track them to resolution.
- Follow our privacy and security guidelines when handling player info.
- Be available to work weekends and holidays as part of your regular schedule.
Knowledge and Documentation
- Get to know our games — how they work, common issues, and what's new.
- Notice common player questions and flag gaps in our help articles.
- Write up player-reported bugs clearly so the team can review them.
Performance and Metrics
- Work towards team goals, such as response time and player satisfaction.
- Check in regularly with your manager on how you're progressing.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Passion for video games.
- Eager to learn and grow new skills.
- Familiar with Google Workspace tools like Sheets (preferred).
- Clear, accurate written communication, with the ability to match our brand's tone.
- Good problem-solver with a solid understanding of PCs, mobile devices, and consoles.
- Calm and reliable, especially during busy periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams like development and QA.
- Trustworthy with sensitive or confidential information.
- Experience with ticketing or bug-tracking software is a plus.
Why Apply:
This is a fantastic opportunity to grow within Marmalade Game Studio, build deep expertise in our games, and directly influence how players experience them. You’ll collaborate across teams and contribute meaningfully to improving both our support processes and our products.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary
- Flexible working: WFH, hybrid, or in-studio
- 22 days holiday + 3 bonus days over Christmas + extra days for long service
- 40 hours per year dedicated to professional development
- Other benefits relevant to your location
- A meaningful role where your work makes a real impact
