About Omnicell

Since 1992, we have been automating medication and supply management in hospitals and pharmacies. More than 4,000 customers worldwide use our systems to reduce medication errors and improve patient safety. We are currently expanding our business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and are looking for reinforcements for our team.

The Role

You help hospitals manage their medications and supplies safely and efficiently. The focus is on our electronic medication cabinets and the associated software. You set up and configure the systems, train users and support the go-live on the wards. You work as part of a team with an experienced Project Implementation Manager (PIM), from whom you will learn. Over time, you will work independently on smaller projects.

This is a hands-on role. You will spend most of your time at customer sites, roll up your sleeves and solve problems on the spot. Our business in the DACH region is still being built, and you will help shape this market.

Your Responsibilities

• Setting up and installing the electronic cabinets at customer sites, including hardware setup

• Configuring the software and maintaining item data for medications and supplies

• Testing together with the customer

• Training nurses, pharmacy staff and materials management staff

• Post-go-live support on the wards

• Close coordination with IT and workflow colleagues and the PIM

• Technical understanding and enjoyment in building, configuring and experimenting. Whether you have built your own PC or worked on machines counts for us.

• Completed vocational training (Ausbildung), Bachelor's degree or a career change into the field

• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written. We work internationally.

• Strong communication skills, a confident and friendly manner with customers, and enjoyment in explaining things clearly

• Confident use of PCs and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and an interest in software and networks

• Driving licence (Class B) and willingness to travel frequently

Nice to Have

• Technical vocational training, e.g. in IT or electrical engineering

• Vocational training or professional experience in healthcare or medical technology (e.g. PTA or nursing, including intensive care), ideally with a strong technical affinity and a desire to try something new

• Experience in project work or in rolling out software

• User-level knowledge of hospital or pharmacy software (HIS)

• Basic knowledge of databases, networks and Windows systems

Die Rolle

Sie sorgen dafür, dass Krankenhäuser ihre Medikamente und Materialien sicher und effizient managen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen unsere elektronischen Medikamentenschränke und die dazugehörige Software. Sie bauen die Systeme auf, richten sie ein, schulen die Anwender und begleiten den Start auf den Stationen. Sie arbeiten im Team mit einem erfahrenen Project Implementation Manager (PIM), von dem Sie lernen. Bei kleineren Projekten arbeiten Sie mit der Zeit eigenständig.

Das ist eine praktische Rolle. Sie sind meistens beim Kunden, packen selbst mit an und lösen Probleme vor Ort. Unser Geschäft in der DACH-Region ist im Aufbau, und Sie gestalten diesen Markt mit.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Aufbau und Installation der elektronischen Schränke beim Kunden, inklusive Hardware-Einrichtung

• Konfiguration der Software und Pflege von Artikeldaten für Medikamente und Materialien

• Tests gemeinsam mit dem Kunden

• Schulung von Pflegekräften, Apothekenpersonal und Mitarbeitenden der Materialwirtschaft

• Betreuung nach dem Go-live auf den Stationen

• Enge Abstimmung mit IT- und Workflow-Kollegen sowie dem PIM

• Eigeninitiative und die Motivation, gemeinsam mit uns einen jungen Markt aufzubauen

• Ausgeprägte Problemlösungskompetenz und Teamfähigkeit, Freude an einem dynamischen technischen Umfeld

• Technisches Verständnis und Spaß am Aufbauen, Konfigurieren und Ausprobieren. Ob Sie selbst einen PC gebaut oder an Maschinen gearbeitet haben, zählt für uns.

• Abgeschlossene Ausbildung, Bachelor-Abschluss oder Quereinstieg

• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, mündlich und schriftlich. Wir arbeiten international.

• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke, sicheres und freundliches Auftreten gegenüber Kunden und Freude daran, Wissen verständlich zu vermitteln

• Sicherer Umgang mit dem PC und Microsoft Office, insbesondere Excel, sowie Interesse an Software und Netzwerken

• Führerschein Klasse B und Bereitschaft zu häufigem Reisen

Von Vorteil

• Technische Ausbildung, z. B. in IT oder Elektrotechnik

• Ausbildung oder Berufserfahrung im Gesundheitswesen oder in der Medizintechnik (z. B. PTA oder Pflegefachkraft, auch aus der Intensivpflege), gern mit ausgeprägter Technikaffinität und Lust auf etwas Neues

• Erfahrung in Projektarbeit oder bei der Einführung von Software

• Anwenderkenntnisse in Krankenhaus- oder Apothekensoftware (KIS)

• Grundkenntnisse in Datenbanken, Netzwerken und Windows-Systemen

Rahmenbedingungen
