What a day as an Information Security Consultant looks like As an Information Security Consultant, your role involves a blend of autonomy, collaboration, and impactful work to strengthen clients’ cybersecurity maturity. Key responsibilities include: Supporting senior consultants in delivering tailored information- & cybersecurity solutions to clients. Analysing and documenting clients' existing security practices through interviews and assessments to evaluate their current information security posture. Assisting in the development and implementation of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), including drafting and refining policies and procedures. Performing third-party risk and security assessments to ensure vendor and partner compliance with security standards. Creating and implementing roadmaps with recommendations that enhance clients’ cybersecurity maturity. Assisting the internal Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in reaching the information security goals. Collaborating with senior consultants to create high-quality reports and solutions aligned with industry standards and best practices. Contributing independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful execution of projects tailored to client needs. Who you are You’re passionate about information- and cybersecurity and eager to grow in the field. You’re a team player with strong communication skills, ready to build trust with clients and colleagues. You are proactive, and like to change it up, balancing different types of projects. You’re adaptable and willing to take on new challenges while delivering exceptional results. Qualifications A background in IT or cybersecurity. Knowledge of ISO27001 (Certification is a plus). Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. Able to translate complex information into high-quality reports and can present them to different types of stakeholders. Fluency in Dutch and English is required. Professional knowledge of French is considered a plus Why join us?
