Junior Java Developer – Canada Remote

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain Java-based applications.
  
  
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
  
  
• Work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
  
  
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
  
  
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve bugs.
  
  
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA engineers, and other team members.
  
  
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and development activities.
  
  
• Learn and apply new technologies as required.
  
  

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
  
  
• Experience with Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
  
  
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  
  
• Familiarity with Git/version control.
  
  
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  
  
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  
  

• Exposure to Microservices architecture.
  
  
• Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP.
  
  
• Familiarity with React, Angular, or another frontend technology.
  
  
• Experience with JUnit or other testing frameworks.
  
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
