Junior Java Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Java Spring Boot & Microservices Developer with 1–3 years of hands-on software development experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Core Java, practical experience building backend applications using Spring Boot, and an understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and relational databases. The successful candidate will work with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain reliable backend applications. This position is suitable for a junior-level developer who enjoys problem-solving, writing clean code, learning new technologies, and contributing to an Agile software development environment.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Core Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
  
• Knowledge of Java Collections, exception handling, and Java 8+ features.
  
• Ability to write readable, efficient, and maintainable code.
  
• Hands-on experience developing backend applications using Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
  
• Understanding of dependency injection and common Spring application development patterns.
  
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed application concepts.
  
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  
• Knowledge of JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, and API integration concepts.
  
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  
• Ability to write queries and work with application data.
  
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.
  
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
  
• Working knowledge of Maven or Gradle.
  
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and application deployment.
  
• Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
