Junior JavaScript Consultant Developer – German-speaking (m/w/d)

This role requires fluent German (C1 minimum): you’ll work directly with our Austrian and German-speaking clients. Applications without German cannot be considered.

You’re at the start of your developer career, you love JavaScript, and you want to work on real projects for real clients, not just tickets. At Basikon, we build a SaaS platform used by banks, lenders and fintechs to design and run their financing products. We’re opening a Junior Consultant Developer position in our Vienna team.

💻 What you’ll do

Half developer, half consultant, you’ll turn client needs into working solutions on our platform:

• Configure and develop features on our platform (JavaScript front and back)

• Take part in client implementation projects, from workshops to go-live

• Be the technical contact for German-speaking clients, together with your team

• Learn from experienced consultants and developers who’ll coach you from day one

• Work with product, tech and client teams across France, Spain, Belgium and Austria

🎯 Your profile

Must-haves

• 🇩🇪 Fluent German (C1+) and good English, written and spoken

• Master’s degree or engineering degree in computer science (or equivalent)

• 0 to 3 years of experience in JavaScript development (internships and work-study count)

• Comfortable with JavaScript on both front-end and back-end

📋 Recruitment process

1. Short call (15–20 min, partly in German)

2. Technical interview with live coding (Teams)

3. Final interview with the team lead

4. Answer within 2 days after the last interview
