Junior JavaScript Developer

About the role
In this position, you will join a distributed team of engineers focused on developing clean, functional interfaces for our proprietary investment platforms. You will work closely with our analysts to understand how they interact with complex financial data, translating those needs into efficient and maintainable code. What you will do

• Write clean, readable JavaScript code for internal web applications and data visualization tools.
• Collaborate with the design and data teams to build user-friendly dashboards for investment tracking.

• Participate in regular code reviews to learn best practices and maintain the firm high standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end bugs reported by our investment analysts and internal staff.
• Assist in the documentation of technical processes and system architecture for future reference.
• Implement responsive designs that work reliably across different screen sizes and browsers.
• Work with internal APIs to fetch and display financial data accurately and securely.

What we are looking for

• Strong fundamental knowledge of modern JavaScript, including basic ES6 syntax and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS3 for building structured, styled, and accessible web layouts.
• A basic understanding of modern front-end frameworks, such as React or Vue, through projects or internships.
