Junior Loan Officer Fully Remote • Lehi Branch - Lehi, UT 84043 Quick Apply Quick Apply Description POSITION SUMMARY Security Home Mortgage, a leading regional mortgage lender is seeking for highly driven individuals to add to our growing team. We are looking for experienced and non-experienced individuals who are able to work remotely and drive in business. Junior Loan Officers will be responsible for the generating their own leads and finding potential borrowers looking for permanent single family mortgage loans. This requires maintaining and cultivating relationships with your own sphere of influence, Realtor and Builder Partners, making outside the office calls, and attending established partner sales meetings and events. The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment under the direction of your Senior Loan Officer, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Generate leads and find potential borrowers for real estate mortgage loans that meet established guidelines. • Request and review initial customer's financials and defer questions on varying loan structures to your Senior Loan Officer. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with realtors and other referral sources throughout the lending market. • Provide constructive feedback on the products and pricing demanded in the real estate market. • Attend staff, department, and other meetings as requested. • Assist in fostering and maintaining a healthy team environment. • Build and maintain tracking system for your database. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED equivalent, must also be 18 years or older. • Active NMLS Registration required • Sound judgment, ability to think critically, including the ability to evaluate facts and data to draw conclusions, determine the downstream impact of decisions and associated risks. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; strong sense of urgency and responsiveness. • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Intermediate math skills. • Strong detail orientation and highly organized. • Demonstrate patience and professionalism when interacting with both internal and external customers.
