Junior MDM Software Engineer

The GPC Global Technology Center team works on a wide range of projects assisting in areas such as e-commerce and data platforms, supply chain solutions, selling systems, and cyber security. This is home to a team of highly skilled IT engineers who are dedicated to driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions for GPC.

Position Purpose:

The PIM Support Engineer ensures stability, reliability, and operational continuity of Informatica PIM Product 360. Looking for someone who is curious and likes diving into technology to make sure it is best in class and functioning as expected.

This role focuses on:

• 2nd line technical support
• Incident resolution
• System performance
• Structured releases
• Technical debt reduction

The role requires strong technical and analytical capabilities and a natural interest in understanding how data flows through systems and where processes break down.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support (2nd Line)

• Investigate and resolve user-reported issues
• Analyze application logs
• Troubleshoot data inconsistencies
• Support integration issues (endpoints, queues, imports/exports)

Data & Database Support

• Execute SQL queries for issue analysis
• Perform database indexing and optimization (SQL Server / SSMS)
• Validate repository integrity
• Identify data quality inconsistencies

Maintenance & Technical Debt

• Refactor configurations for maintainability
• Optimize workflows and processing time
• Improve documentation and stability

Release & Environment Support

• Support controlled deployments (DEV → ACC → PROD)
• Execute deployments under governance model
• Ensure environment consistency
• Understand DevOps pipelines and release processes

Qualifications & Skills

Required

• Experience supporting enterprise applications
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Solid SQL knowledge (SQL Server / SSMS)
• Basic Java understanding (reading logs, small adjustments)
• Basic Python knowledge (script maintenance)
• Understanding of deployment processes and DevOps
• Structured, detail-oriented mindset
• Strong affinity for data processes and system logic

Nice to Have

• Experience with Informatica Product 360
• Experience in master data environments
• Experience with ERPs (SAP/D365)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions
